Sorry it's ended like this. I had very high hopes and I'm sure you'll do very well in the future. Thanks for the ride, I've really enjoyed most of it. Special thanks to the people who thought I was o.k. and have supported me. Good luck!

It's good to see past players following the band. Feel free to come to the band room and catch up with the new crop of players!

Good luck everyone for this saturday at Pontins. We can do this, desite only having 8 rehearsals on the piece! Don't get hung up about the rhythms in the last movement - thanks Andy for pointing this out last night! Just follow the xylophone then at least if its wrng we'll all be wrong together!

Hi Eileen! Great to hear from you. It's amazing that your Dan is doing grade 5 in Spring - so is our Bernice! What talented children we have. It is a pity that you are too far away as he'd be a great asset to our youth band. We still have some of the old photos taken at the bandroom when Ted was conducting and have often told our Ben about the time when he was sick all down your uniform just before a contest. Remember? Now he's working on being sick after contests through beer. Oh to be young again.......

Hi Phillippa! It would be lovely to live nearer and to be able to come along to the band. What a shame that we can't! Doesn't it make you feel grown up to be talking about our children like this? I had forgotten about the being sick down my uniform until you mentioned it - I'm still laughing as I type! It was so great going to the bar after a contest but I don't think I could keep up with the pace now - I'm getting old! In fact I was 40 last October which was a bit weird! Much love. Eileen xx
