Thanks for helping out Colin and other borrowed players. It was a great concert to finish the summer season. Thanks to all the band for their continued commitment and hard work through the busy summer and thanks to all the players who've helped from other bands.

The Gala Concert went very well on Thursday, the youngsters played superb, well done! Thanks to Andy Booth for conducting the youth band and thanks to JP, Rob Green and Julie Phillips for helping to organise the event, preparing the youngsters and organising the raffle (which raised £96). Thanks also to all those who donated raffle prizes especially Debbie Williams who very generously donated a voucher for a meal for two at her hotel.
Thanks also to Ellen Galbraith for her organising, at short notic,e some of the leaflets, programmes and running order for the three bands! As well as sorting the youth band members out on the night!

JP walked 40 miles from Keswick to Barrow in a great time of 10 hours and 46 minutes. He completed the walk to raise money for the band and CICRA (Crohn's in Childhood Research Association. The Grand National Sweepstake raised £35.50 for the band. Winners were....

Thanks Georgina, Linda and Evan, Danny, JP, Dave and John for a great concert at our school today, everybody loved it....and can't wait for next time!
